With the loss of so many top players and the impending loss of most, with poor attendance at games ANZC certainly could do with a Marshall type of player to play again. However, it should be paid more than any other player, or receive special treatment if he wants to go first is to play his way back into the ANZC at club level.
He has the necessary experience could bring the world to New Zealand rugby young players certainly learn a lot from him and his natural exuberance and leadership is something missing in New Zealand rugby at the moment.
